The DECT Forum’s recently announced strategic SIG for building automation has held its first meeting during May, hosted by Legrand at its Paris headquarters.
The meeting was attended by 18 participants representing companies Legrand, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Wirepas, Nordic Semiconductor, Last Mile Semiconductor and DSR Corporation.
This event was very successful, with good progress made in all areas. Three subgroups were formed which will work on the following:
- Marketing – to be chaired by Lauri Piikivi, Nordic Semiconductor
- Certification – to be chaired by Ben Eatts, Schneider Electric
- Technical – chair to be appointed
During the meeting, in-depth discussions were held about the goals and deliverables of each of the groups. Each subgroup will start up their own activities.
